Elkanah’s Boys’ and Girls’ guitar ensembles were recently treated to a performance by the Palm Strings Trio at the Baxter Theatre. Despite the wet and cold Cape Town weather the boys and girls were kept warm by the technical profiency and immensely musical renditions of well known classical, opera and popular songs.
Music theory classes started at the senior primary at the beginning of the year. The beginner theory class meets on a Thursday morning and the Tuesday class is for the more advanced students.
